Anxiety

Currently writing from my life experiences. Don’t really remember when Anxiety came into play. It could have been when I was dropped off at boarding school. No one to talk to, feeling scared all the time. The despair and loneliness. Not being able to be touched or touch someone. A hug or a kiss from a loved one. It was only for 11 months but it scared the rest of me. I didn’t realize it later how fast you pick up habits. Whether they are built into you from your family, being so paranoid because your Mother was brutally stabbed to death in her home, or from frightening experiences that change our soul forever. This life is about healing. Healing from all the fucked up shit this life has to offer. The thing about life is, it also has some amazing once in a lifetime moments to offer. 

To be Anxious is to worry about the future. Focusing on the now helps me when I am feeling anxious. When you are waiting for something in the future, life can seem so long. Living in the present moment has sped up time for me. Giving thanks for this moment right now that I am alive. I am able to read and write and run. I give thanks for all the small blessings The Universe has given me. 

We need each other in this world. Make sure you keep in contact with your friends. In the world, we live in we don’t just pop in anymore and wish someone a great day. That person you haven’t spoken to in a while but love. Send them a text right now. Yes … right now. It doesn’t have to be long, just tell them you’re thinking about them, you love them, and wish them a great day. Besides boosting their day, I know that felt amazing for you too. Took your mind off of things for a while too right??

What has helped bring me back to the present the most are carrying around Pocket Stones for me. I like to keep my personal ones on my window sill at night to recharge for the next day. Depending on how I slept, or what mood I wake up in I’ll gravitate toward a certain stone or keep a specific stone with me for a month. If I want to focus on healing my depression, I’ll carry around Amethyst or happy Citrine to keep my spirits up. Amethyst is also great for enhancing your psychic abilities. Besides crystals to help keep me focused. Personally, I have used Cannabis to help manage my anxiety. I don’t condone the use of prescriptions to a certain point anymore. In high school, I would pop pills. They took me to a very dark place. Later on, Cannabis helped me with everything. If you live in a state that has access to it Medically or Recreationally I recommend to consult a doctor before use. Everybody has a different effect. Some like it some don’t. Others like myself are a connoisseur of Cannabis. Not just for the calming THC effects but for the healing properties of CBD.
